Appointment Reminder Service - This service reminds patients and customers of their booked appointment using an automated voice message sent to their mobile or landline number. During the message they are asked to confirm if they wish to attend, cancel, or change their appointment, via their telephone keypad.
The service works by allowing either ad-hoc messages to be created on the website, which are then automatically converted into natural speech, or by selecting a pre-recorded messages using real voice.
All voice services offer the central feature of prompting the call recipient to respond immediately via their telephone keypad (i.e. “Press 1 to confirm receipt of this message”).
The responses often have more value than the message itself, which is why we log and report all the keypad responses, enabling appropriate action to be taken where needed.
The service will even retry at pre-determined intervals if the call is not answered, and will detect answering equipment and voicemail services.
